Hey guys my name is Jordan H. I have been horseback riding for 13 years now and I am proud to say I never grew out of my pony phase. Besides going out to the stables every day I do have other hobbies. I play the violin and very little guitar, I love video games… though I’m not very good, I was in a Culinary Arts Magnet in high school and was also very active in the Theatre Arts/ Tech Magnet, and most of all I love to just chill with my friends.
I was lucky enough to find the perfect school to help me turn my passion of horses and training into a career. I will be attending Johnson & Wales University (www.jwu.edu) in Providence, Rhode Island majoring in Equine Business Management and Riding. I first heard of JWU through a Culinary class I was taking, went to the website and was like “OMG!! They have a freaking awesome HORSE PROGRAM!!?” As time passed I did more research looking at other programs at other schools, but none compared to JWU’s. I went to visit the campus last summer and fell in love with Downtown Providence. I had found my school.
One of the great things about Johnson & Wales is their upside down curriculum, meaning that the minute you enter one of their career driven programs you are in classes that are strictly your major. You don’t have your first two years of school just getting prereqs and core classes done. My first class of the week is my horseback riding lesson at 7am to 9am on Monday mornings!
Well peeps… that’s all I can think of for now. If you have any questions please comment and I will do my best to answer them!
Have a wonderful day! I’ll talk to yall soon.
Xoxo Jordan

Jordan!!!! You’re a dork, but I still love you! I’m so bummed you’re leaving me all alone in Texas. But you’ll have a great time in college. I have faith that you’ll go on to do good things…just don’t forget your fellow brain surgeon! Love you!
