Hi From the Forest!
Wow, I have been quite the irresponsible blogger. My apologies!
It is October, and I am settling in to my first semester at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois.

Much has happened! I got into Lake Forest College in Illinois, received a wonderful scholarship, and am currently waiting on receiving my financial aid package. I am so excited! Yep, you read that right. I just received an email from a school that I applied to Early Decision that informed me that the Admissions Board has deferred my application to the regular decision pool. I thought I would return to Dallas with my heart set on one of these schools, but I have encountered a slight problem – I pretty much fell in love with Mount Holyoke AND Wellesley. One thing I do know, I’ll end up where I am supposed to be!

Salutations! I just got back from a week cruise to Montego Bay, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel, Mexico. Believe it or not, I was forced to go on this cruise. I objected because I was going to be traveling with certain family members that I don’t get along with in the slightest
