Spring Semester

Snow at Hendrix College

Wow! Sorry for taking so long to post a new blog.
This spring semester has been crazy. I have English, Social Psychology, Biology plus a lab, Orchestra rehearsals, and a dance class. All that school on top of the Hendrix events thats been going on and all this snow we have been getting! (more…)

Home Sweet Home

It feels so wonderful to be home

I love the Christmas holiday its my favorite. Not for the presents although they are nice but I love giving others presents. And I love that my brother comes home for Christmas and I get to see him. It is nice having him around. And this year he brought home his girlfriend Susie who is very sweet and I like her a lot. So do my parents we think she is wonderful. (more…)

Finals. AHHH!!

Well before I get to talk about finals first off going home for thanksgiving was really nice. It felt good to be home and get away for awhile. Have some true alone time because in college it’s hard to have true alone time. I spent this visit home with family because last time I was home I just spent it with friends mostly and then still missed my family. (more…)

Just an update

I can’t believe my freshman year of college is already almost half over. It has gone by so fast! Faster than high school. I have final exams coming up and I’m nervous. And I’m also not nervous. I think I’m just nervous because they will be my first college final exams but I’m not nervous because it will just be like all the other tests I’ve had already just longer. (more…)

Well, I hit a brick wall. Now I have to pick myself back up.

I know in the last blog I talked about the twist and turns of college and boy did I stumble upon a huge twist and turn. Something, hopefully, most students don’t have to go through, and especially not in their freshman year. (more…)

College Is A True Test Of Your Independence

Welcome to November everyone, the first semester of college is almost over!

This past friday was Hendrix’s  GhoastRoast party. Everyone dresses up and goes out to the brick pit to have a huge dance party. The whole week leading up to it was spirit week and each day was a different dress up day. For example it was dress like your favorite professor day or dress like a celebrity day. (more…)

An Aspiring Veterinarian

Wow, college already seems to be going by fast. I feel like I just moved in and its October already. It has finally sunk in that I am not at camp anymore. It still feels a little strange, like I’m at more of a boarding school rather than at college, but there are times where I step back and go wow, I really am at college. (more…)
