H1N1 and H3N8

Colleges are still enjoying large numbers of students with “swine flu”, or H1N1. After a 10 day trip to Kentucky and Ohio, I have also succumbed to the H1N1 virus. But I won’t get H3N8…an equine flu which has jumped species to dogs. At least that is good news, right?

I find it fascinating that poker has become so mainstream, mainly because of the movie Rounders. I’ve been around poker since I was very small, when I watched my grandparents play “penny poker” with their friends.

A lot on my plate

So…it’s Monday. Mondays are terrible. This week is gonna be horrible. I have a geology exam on Thursday in which I got a 63 on the first one after studying hardcore. I was depressed. But this means that I have to studyin 20 more hours to get a better grade. Womp Womp. AND I have an essay due in history on Friday and its about a book I read that I don’t even understand. Who knew college was hard!?
